General Charges & Payment:
• All our prices are quoted in South
African Rands (ZAR) and are exclusive of VAT, which will be charged at the
prevailing rate for all services, where & when applicable . Parking
and toll fees are not included and will be charged to you at cost.
• All bookings are calculated as
starting and finishing in Cape Town, except those bookings to and from various
locations or those bookings that are subject to a fixed charge, as predetermined
between Getting Home and yourself.
• All hires involving a drop off and a subsequent pick up will be charged
as a seperate booking.

• Gratuities are at the client's discretion, and are not included in the price.
• A surcharge of 25% will be made
for services provided (excluding extras) when a journey starts or finishes

• A 100% surcharge is applicable for journeys on Christmas Day, Boxing Day
and also from 18:00 New Years eve until 10:00 New Years day, thereafter
the 25% standard surcharge will apply.
• Currently we do not accept credit cards nor cheques.
• Airport transfer tariffs are based on one way, direct, non-stop transfers
to or from central Cape Town.
• Any excess waiting time or mileage over and above the stated allowances
will be charged at either the standard hourly rates (R60p/h), or the additional

If the hirer requests that the driver follows a specific
route that is not necessarily the quickest or shortest route, the hirer
is liable for any excess charges involved. Any additional stops will be
charged at a rate of no more than 10% of the booking fee, per additional

A reasonable amount of luggage is allowed, but luggage
which, in the opinion of the driver, amounts to excessive weight, may
not be carried. The company accepts no responsibility for any loss or
damage to luggage or any other item, however such loss or damage may be
caused. Should you have excessive luggage please arrange with the booking
office to arrange a trailer.
The customer must not act or request in any way, any
action which contravenes or causes to contravene any part of any legislation
which applies to the use of Vehicles, that may result in any illegal activities.
Nor may the hirer carry any contraband substances into the vehicle.
Under the terms of our insurance policy the company expressly
prohibits any persons other than their own chauffeurs from driving their
vehicle and can only seat the number of passengers according to that vehicle's
Subject to the above condition, the company accepts responsibility
for damage to their cars by fire or collision and the company's legal
liability for third party claims arising from the use of their cars.
The carriage of animals is by strict request and agreed
in advance with the company. The company reserves the right of refusal.
We will gladly accept your
cancellations, under the following conditions:
• Cancellations will be accepted
within 48 hours of your scheduled booking time.
• Please note that non - refundable
deposits for certain class of bookings may be required.
• Getting Home guarantees that a chauffeur
will be waiting for up to 30 minutes on domestic flights and up to 60
minutes on international flights before applying charges for no shows.
• Please be advised that it is the
passengers responsibility to advise Getting Home of any delays encountered
and if the booking needs to be rescheduled.
• If the Passenger leaves without notifying
Getting Home, there will be a no show fee applied to your credit card.
A 100% of the fee for your scheduled trip in to Cape Town or surrounds
on all domestic and/or international arrivals, plus parking cost, if applicable,
will be charged.
• For cancellation of bookings between
the hours of 02:00 and 08:00, 8hrs notice is required.

consent to all of the hazards which this type of transfer may involve,
including without limitation, death, personal injury, disease, loss of
or damage to your property caused by acts of God or any other 3rd Party
not in the employ of Getting Home.
Accepting to use Getting Home Executive Services signifies
your agreement to indemnify and hold Getting Home, its employees and agents
blameless for any personal injury, loss, disease, damage or expenses of
whatsoever nature and howsoever arising, which you may sustain or incur
by reason of any act or omission on the part of the Getting Home, its
employees or agents.
It remains the customers duty and responsibilty to advise
Getting Home and its operatives timely of any special requirements or
threats pertaining to their specific wellbeing. So that the necessary
precautions can be taken. Where possible...Forewarned is forearmed.
No variation or alteration hereto shall be of any force
or effect unless consented to in writing by Getting Home and signed by
you and Getting Home's authorised representative.
